Cozy Cocoa Party
Create a cozy spot and invite a few friends over to swap stories and sip hot cocoa by the light of the fire this winter season! Hot chocolate bars are a classic winter party (for good reason!) but they don’t always have to be over-the-top with every topping imaginable and a whole set of matching Santa mugs. This party is meant to be less about the spread and more about spending a cozy evening with your closest pals. So gather up your pillows and blankets, make a fire, maybe throw on a Hallmark movie?, and grab a few things for a memorable evening.
Plain mugs can always be dressed up for any occasion! I dipped the rims in melted chocolate and then in Christmas sprinkles for a festive touch. Costco had a hot cocoa party kit that supplied the cocoa spoons, gingerbread mug cookies, snowflake marshmallows, and crushed peppermint bits.
The only other toppings provided were a host of marshmallows from Trader Joe’s (dark chocolate covered are to die for!!), candy canes, and whipped cream.
Hot chocolate parties are easy to put together and easy to make your own with whatever direction you want to take!
